ECMC 2013 Workshops – You can help

Workshop and mainsprings planning for ECMC 2013

Workshop and mainsprings planning for ECMC 2013

The European Centre Managers Conference (ECMC) is soon. I’m the Workshop co-ordinator so I’m going to take the opportunity to invite the Goose Network to help out with the workshops. It’s not so complicated at all. It occurred to me that it’s a lot easier to communicate and ask someone you have met earlier in real life and so we in the Goose Network has an advantage.

To recall, there are nine workshops planned. There will be three workshop occasions and each workshop is planned to take place once. That means we will have three concurrent workshops for about 15-25 people.  That makes nine workshops. It also means that if you are hosting a workshop, you can still go to two other unless your workshop is very popular and you like to do an encore.

Out of the nine (suggested) workshops, two is already picked by Neihaischen and one is picked by Papa-G:

  • Social Media
  • Programme Innovation
  • Quality Label
  • Promotion of Social Inclusion and Diversity at Guide/Scout Centres

That leaves six more workshops seeking a host/organizer.

  • Fund racing
  • Volounteer engagement
  • Shop
  • Follow up on CMC 2011
  • Developing New Strategies
  • Process innovation/efficiency

If you feel like you want to run a workshop that isn’t on the list, contact me immediately. Same thing if you can host one or if you have a suggestion on someone to contact.

Lets make that list shorter.
