This is the first in a series of blogg posts from the seminar being written by our the participants themselves.
During the afternoon and early evening 25 people from 8 different countries met at Neihaischen Scout Centre in Luxembourg. As we all arrived at different times we spent the time before dinner getting to know each other.
After a delicious dinner we came together to find out more about the weekend. As we were all different ages, with different experiences from different countries the main aim is to learn and share our experiences.
Before dinner we were all asked to put a personal item in a box, and then came the task of trying to match the item with the person. Some of the things were easy to match: scout uniforms and keyrings, but some were much harder: dice and keys. When the item had been matched with the owner we had to explain why the item was personal to us.
After the getting to know you game the formalities of the evening were over: it was off to the Celtic House to socialize and get to know each other more.
